For (partly) making the comment… ”rehearsing is for fags”  Uh….dumb ass. News Flash! You’re in Hollywood! Do you think that there are no gays in Hollywood? That is unless he was referring to the English slang of fag, as in cigarette. Let’s replace and see… “rehearsing is for cigarettes” Nope.

Tech Week in Review 11-5-2011
iPhone users must have felt a bit drained this week. Apple finally broke radio silence over criticisms of lackluster battery life affecting iPhones old and new since releasing iOS 5 last month. The company said in a media statement that it’s aware of the problem and plans on offering a fix in the form of a software update. Users have flocked to Apple’s support site to complain...

Netflix Account Losses Much Higher Than Expected... →
Netflix has lost 800,000 subscribers in the last three months, according to numbers released as part of the company’s third quarter financial report on Thursday. The streaming-and-DVD site is down to 23.8 million users as of September 30, 2011, compared to 24.6 million users on June 30, 2011. What?! How is this possible? I don’t get it.

Samsung Electronics and Google took the wraps off the Galaxy Nexus, the latest Android handset to carry the flagship smartphone moniker, during a Samsung event in Hong Kong. It also marked the debut of the latest version of Android, known as Ice Cream Sandwich. (Each...

I think the better question is who does trust Microsoft? Seriously? I mean outside of the majority of Americans who honestly just don’t know enough to even ask the question, who within the tech world can actually tell me that they trust Microsoft not to screw something else up?

Tech Week in Review 10-1-2011
Tech enthusiasts were expecting something big from Amazon this week, and they weren’t disappointed. Many had hoped that the Internet retailer would take the wraps off a much-anticipated tablet PC to challenge the iPad (which it did), but the company also unveiled three new e-ink e-readers. The new Kindle Touch with Wi-Fi will sell for $99; its 3G version will sell for $149. A cheaper and...

I messed up. I owe everyone an explanation. That’s how the blog post from Reed Hastings begins. Finally! I mean this is what we’ve been waiting for! It gets better: In hindsight, I slid into arrogance based upon past success. We have done very well for a long time by steadily improving our service, without doing much CEO communication. Inside Netflix I say, “Actions speak louder than...

Tech Week in Review 9-17-2011
At its Build developers’ conference this week, Microsoft shed some light on its upcoming Windows 8 operating system—the first to work on tablets with touch from the start, and by all accounts a dramatic shift from its current Windows version. The Windows 8 prebeta version is technically designed for developers. But no registration is required, so anyone can download and install...

Carol Bartz was fired this week from her job as Yahoo CEO, but she didn’t leave quietly. In a note sent to Yahoo employees Tuesday, Bartz said the company’s board had fired her. “I am very sad to tell you that I’ve just been fired over the phone by Yahoo’s chairman of the board,” Bartz wrote. “It has been my pleasure to work with all of you and I wish...
